The property is situated, in a quite town of San Javier, Murcia. The airport is just 5 minutes away from our house by taxi which costs around 10 euros and is outside the airport waiting to take you to your holiday home. The house is fully equipped with all the little extras it has Digital TV where you will be able to watch British channels coronation street for the ladies and sports for the men or you can just laze around outside on the large patio to soak up the sun which is at its best from morning till night or walk out of the gate to your shared pool which a key will be supplied. It has air conditioning in the lounge and main bedroom which is available at an extra cost. Restaurants There is no shortage for places to eat and drink in the town which is a 10 minutes walk to Shops, Cafes, Tapas bar, Wine bars and English bars that do English meals, and Spanish restaurants that do fresh fish and lovely paella. There are also Chinese restaurants buffet style and the Big House Chinese which is 10 minutes walk, and a Indian restaurant where you can eat in a relaxing friendly atmosphere. Beach The beach is a five minute walk to the sandy beaches of the Mar Menor which stretches for miles along the non tidal shallow waters which is the largest salt water lagoon in Europe and has an average depth of 3.5 metres with a maximum of 6.5 metres. Its magnificent natural swimming pool with temperatures which are maintained by the sun of up to 30 degrees in the summer making it ideal for the families with young children and non swimmers. Just 10 minutes by car you can travel to the Mar Menor San Pedro to bath in the mud baths which is said to be the the biggest open air mud bath in Europe which is well known for its minerals which stimulates the healing process for skin problems arthritis and throat infections. Markets There is a Wednesday market that is just a few minutes walk from the house and a Lidl and Aldi around the corner. The golf course of Torre Pacheco is just 12 minutes by car or taxi with a local golf putting range ten minutes by car. Please no smoking is allowed in the house but you are welcome to smoke on the solarium or on the patio.
