The mobile home is situated on a small French site just five minutes from Pont L’Eveque. The site is approximately half a mile through private ground from the main road. This picturesque small town in the Calvados region of North West France, is within close proximity to Deauville, Trouville, Honfleur, Caen, Bayeux, the World War II Landing Beaches (including Pegasus Bridge) and is an area steeped in history. There is a wonderful WWII museum in Caen. Because the site is a private French site English is not readily spoken there but although it is always appreciated if an attempt at French is made first most people are extremely friendly and helpful. Whilst there is no swimming pool on site there is a man made private beach utilising the lake and in the summer season water sports (banana boat, pedalo, jetski etc) are available. There is a small bar and restaurant on site which is open in the summer months. I would not consider the site suitable for age groups looking for lively night life as the emphasis is on peace and quiet at night time! The climate is comparable to the South of England. Very reasonable rates. Other periods of let considered. We ask that visitors leave the mobile home clean and tidy as it should be found for the next visitors and this is reflected in the much below average rental rates.
