Costa Ballena's golf course is the focal point of the resort's massive developmentand since its inception in 1997 has established itself among the best in Andalucia. The layout was designed by Ryder Cup starJose Marandiacute;a Olazabaland has become a regular choice for top national and international amateur eventsin addition to being selected to host a European Tour qualifying event.

The championship course is comprised from the 27 holes conceived by Olazabaland at its full length will measure 6 601 yards. Some holes run alongside the spectacular Atlantic coastlinewhile further inland the course traverses the lush parklandand this interesting variation makes Costa Ballena a very satisfying round.

Costa Ballena also has an entertaining par-3 course; the holes measure up to 200 yards and moreshowing that it is no push-over!

The complex has a fantastic practice facility and driving rangewhile the resort is also home to a Scott Cranfield golf academy.
