This lovely sprawling old pale stone house with terracotta roof wrought iron balconies and wooden slatted shutters is reached by a cypress tree-lined drive through electric gates and stands in its own extensive grounds. A large house it is ideal for an extended family or groups of friends travelling together on holiday who want plenty of space. It has a good-sized octagonal pool with ample room around for sunbathing enjoying an evening aperitif or throwing a BBQ dinner on the outside covered dining terrace. Inside the villa is comfortably furnished and well-equipped for a large party and there is a second lounge area to accommodate those who may be seeking some peace and quiet. Villa Il Lago is well situated for visiting the lesser known but equally interesting towns of Umbria as well as the more famous town of Assisi. It is situated just 2 kms from the village of Villastrada and 7 km from Castiglione del Lago. The larger town of Perugia is 35 kms and Siena is only 55kms less than an hour?s drive. Ground floor: L-shaped living room with large wooden dining table and fireplace for cooler evenings kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine 1 twin bedroom with en suite bathroom. First floor: 2 doubles with en suite bathroom 1 twin with en suite bathroom 1 further double bedroom and 1 shower room. Second lounge area with sofas. BBQ dishwasher washing machine. Breakage deposit of 150? to be lodged directly with owner and refunded on departure. Weekly cleaning service and linen change. Saturday changeover. Pool open 1st May - 30th Sept.
