Set midway between Filey's lovely sandy beaches (6 miles) and Scarborough's many seaside attractions including sea life centre flume pool and famous 'theatre in the round' it offers a great location for exploring the Yorkshire coast - Bridlington Robin Hood's Bay and Whitby all lie within easy reach. Touring the Yorkshire Wolds and Moors is a delight in itself and Flamingo Land theme park Eden Camp and the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway in Pickering are about 20 miles whilst the city of York's Minster and fine museums are a 35 mile drive. Castle Howard Sledmere House Burton Agnes Rievaulx and Nunnington Hall are all easily accessible. Excellent golf under 3 miles riding nearby. Dining pub 150 yards shop 1 mile.
