Morwellham Quay with its underground railway and fascinating National Trust properties at Cotehele Buckland Abbey Saltram House and Castle Drogo are a short drive whilst the fine beaches of the Cornish coast and the Eden Project are easily accessible as is Plymouth (just 15 miles).
