There is little through traffic here and the location close to Wetton Mill (N.T.) on the edge of the beautiful Manifold Valley ensures excellent cycling and walking on the many local trails and footpaths (cycle hire is available 6 miles away) and pony trekking is found at Tissington 4 miles. Ashbourne with its swimming pool sports centre and shops is 7 miles - Chatsworth Haddon Hall and Alton towers are all under 12 miles. Good local pubs serve renowned food shops are 4 miles and a dining pub is 100 yards.
