Within 11/2 miles are the amenities of Llanfair Caereinion and golf and a leisure centre are available in the picturesque nearby market town of Welshpool. Oswestry Newtown Powis Castle the steam railway Lake Vyrnwy the coast Portmeirion and magnificent Snowdonia are all within easy reach.
