International airport at Bergerac 45kms. This magnificent 16th century ch teau dominates the valley of the river Isle. The property stretches over 40 acres combining formal gardens a wealth of wild vegetation in the woods and field and 2 Friesian horses (not included in the rental!) Private pool 11 x 4 x 1.2-2m depth is in a sunny position to the side of the ch teau with security alarm. Large table near the pool for alfresco dining shaded by the chateau. BBQ. The helpful and discreet owners live on site across the courtyard from the ch teau.
