The town of Montpon is on the outskirts of the Double forest bordering the Gironde area reputed for its organ recitals and plenty of opportunities for visiting church's monasteries and local architecture. As a curiosity stop visit the ?Pisiculture Estudor? famous for its production and selling of caviar at one of the largest river fish aquariums in Europe. A short drive takes you to the famous vineyards of St Emilion and less than an hour will take you to the large towns of Perigueux or Bergerac. Riding at St Seurin sur l?isle. International airport: Bergerac 56 kms. With well kept lawns to one side and enclosed area with pool at the back of the property this small yet attractive cottage lies within 40 acres of land which includes a large fishing pond (bring your own rod) just 100m from the cottage.
