A recently renovated south facing house set in the heart of the Pyr n es mountains. Located only 5 km from the Spanish border surrounded by the largest of the Pyrenean mountains which rise to in excess of 13 000 feet (3404m). Many stay snow capped the whole year despite the house being in the warmest region of France. Situated on the outskirts of a typical Pyrenean village but is only a 3-4 min drive from Bagn res?de?Luchon a very popular spa town with numerous restaurants caf s shops and supermarkets. Luchon offers the normal full range of mountain activities including paragliding skiing canoeing kayaking rafting etc. There is also a small leisure airfield providing light aircraft and glider flights over the stunning surrounding mountains. This property is ideal for summer and winter activities. Although the house is only at an altitude of 560m the cable car in Luchon gives direct access to the ski slopes and high altitude walking. The famous Pyrenean long distance footpath the GR10 also runs through the village. Both enable access to numerous waterfalls and glacial lakes. Caf and lake at Badech 3 min drive.
