Beneath a ridge of the Luberon hills between Bonnieux 19 km and Robion 3 km lie the historic villages of Lacoste 14 km M nerbes 8 km Opp de 4 km and Maubec their stone buildings faded by the time bask under red pan tiled roofs in this delightful part of the Vaucluse. Cavaillon for shops restaurants and bike hire 9 km. Maubec widely known for its production of the AOC C tes du Luberon wines and for growing cherries and apricots. Visit Roussillon 21 km for its ochre coloured cliffs Gordes 11 km for chic boutiques narrow alleyways and fabulous views and the 12C Cistercian Monastery of Abbaye de Senanque 15 km. In July between Sault 47km and Simiane la Rotunde 48 km you?ll find an array lavender fields guarded to the north by the white limestone heights of Mont Ventoux 1912m - a drive to the summit Mont Ventoux 67km will not fail to thrill! Visit Avignon 25km to see the Pope?s palace and famous bridge. Closer to home there are many markets selling a range of local produce wines and delicacies like the Sunday market at Coustellet 4km and the famous antiques and bric-a-brac market at L?Isle sur la Sorgue 17 km.
